What exactly is the MINERVA scanner and how does it work?
Minerva uses a non-invasive device called an “E.I.S.” (Electro Interstitial Scan). The E.I.S. measures cellular activities by passing low-voltage electrical current (2.5-2.7DV) through the interstitial fluid (tissue fluid that surrounds cells, tissues and organs). It works in a similar way to the ECG medical device (electrocardiogram). Two electrodes will be gently placed on your forehead while your hands and feet will rest on metal plates linked to the electrodes. The E.I.S. device will highlight any specific imbalances in your 11 systems and will also detect vitamins, minerals, serotonin and hormone levels.
How long is the scan/appointment? What happens in the appointment?
As a first-time treatment, the appointment will take approximately 90 minutes.
Dr. Vidhi, our highly respected and experienced Nutritionist, and Homeopathic Doctor will welcome you into the clinic room, take a full case history of all medical concerns, and then proceed with the E.I.S. scan.
It is a simple and pain-free process in which you can sit comfortably and at ease as the system scans your body. The scan itself lasts only 2-3 minutes. Once the scan is complete, our expert will thoroughly go over the results and prepare a personalised assessment to help rectify any imbalances, and will suggest a personalised lifestyle and dietary bespoke plan.
We recommend one follow up analysis after the initial scan, so you have a better understanding of the progress made and if any treatment adjustments are necessary.
