Turmeric
Turmeric has some of the strongest evidence behind it for being anti-inflammatory — largely thanks to its active compounds, curcuminoids. A substantial body of clinical research supports turmeric as one of the most effective anti-inflammatory foods available today. It helps ease joint pain, soothes exercise-related inflammation, lowers CRP (a key inflammation marker), and even supports weight management and other metabolic issues.
How to use it:
Mix 1 tsp turmeric powder into 250ml unsweetened plant milk (almond is ideal) with a pinch of black pepper — the pepper's piperine helps your body absorb the curcumin. Warm it on the stove or in the microwave and drink it after dinner, or any time of day.
